Event Info

When

The 2022 has been cancelled due to storm damage.

 

Where

Thrunton Woods, Northumberland.  There is no postcode so please look at the map here.

 

What distance?

The run is 15 miles long and takes in pretty much all parts of the Thrunton Woods area.  If you have a love for lactic acid you’re going to be in your element.

 

Please note that the route is subject to change in light of any wildlife or forestry restrictions.

 

How much?

15 Mile Trail Run – Entry fee £33

(Additional £2 if you are not a member of a UKA affiliated running club.)

 

Entry includes a custom finishers medal as well as the usual high standards of event delivery from the team.

 

Event Schedule

07:00 – Registration opens

08:45 – Registration closes

08:55 – Compulsory Safety Briefing (start line)

09:00 – Start of The Hell in the Woods

 

Parking

Ample free parking is available on site.

 

Registration

Registration will take place at the Main Car Park. Toilet facilities are available on site.

 

Run Route

The course covers approximately 15 miles as it snakes its way around Thrunton Woods taking in all the popular areas and even some of the lesser-known ones where runners are not normally known to frequent.

 

Feed Station

There will be 2 feed stations out on the course.  Remember to bring a water bottle as we will not have cups of any kind out on the course.

 

Run Timing

We will record finish times and will make the results available after the event on the website. Please ensure your run number is visible after you cross the finish line. If you drop out of the event at any time after you have registered and collected your run number, then you must go to the nearest checkpoint/marshal or Registration and let them know you are dropping out.
